Ms. Tamela

Head of School

Tamela has been immersed in Montessori since 2004. On her Montessori journey, she earned 3 certifications in Montessori (both primary & adolescent levels) and completed Georgia teacher certification for adolescent math and science. She shares her love of Montessori by teaching and helping guide new teachers through CGMS.

Besides currently pursuing her doctorate in curriculum & instruction from GSU, she has a bachelor’s degree in science from Purdue University and masters in Montessori Leadership. Mills has volunteered as a stream water quality monitoring volunteer/ trainer for Georgia Adopt-a-Stream for 5 years. Love of learning and nature are among her highest motivators. Outside of Montessori, Mills and her family kayak, garden, explore nature, and dote on their two dogs.
