Michelle Nott

French & Creative Writing Guide

Michelle Nott is binational and bilingual (USA and France). She holds a BA in Education (K-12) and a MA in French Literature, with concentrations in Surrealism and Decolonization. She is also a published poet and author of children’s literature. Michelle finds inspiration in her family and their travels, as well as in literature, culture, and art from around the world.

Born in Ohio, Michelle has also lived in France and Belgium. Michelle’s favorite times include snowshoeing in the French Alps, hiking through the

Belgian countryside, and relaxing with a book on a beach in Cornwall, UK. She currently calls North Carolina home with her husband, two daughters, and their rescue dog
