Emmanuelle was born and raised in the lovely Cognac region, surrounded by the vineyards of Charente, in the southwest of France. 

She spent a year studying in Quebec, then she worked as an elementary school teacher in France for several years before moving to Louisiana in 2006 to teach in French Immersion Schools with the Codofil (Council for the Development of French in Louisiana).

She followed her husband to the Charlotte area in 2017. She is the mother of a little boy. 

She likes to discover new places and to meet new people. 

She really enjoys helping her students feel more comfortable in the French language.
